Drood Conference Update

We are very pleased to release the latest programme for our upcoming Drood conference on 20 September in Senate House, London: The Mystery of Edwin Drood Conference Programme

In addition to a wide range of papers discussing both the book itself and its various afterlives, we can now announce a special Q&A panel with two writers of Drood solutions: David Madden, author of The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Unthank Books, 2012) and Gwyneth Hughes, screenwriter of the BBC adaptation of Drood in the same year.

In addition there will be two exhibitions running through the day, the one showcasing Drood-related treasures from the Senate House Library (including an original copy of the six monthly numbers from 1870) and the second showing original illustrations created for the Drood Inquiry by Alys Jones If you haven’t done so already, you can register for this event here: Drood Conference Registration
